The Maths Habit ("we", "our", "the app") is operated by Parallel Education Ltd. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
When you create an account, we collect your display name and email address. As you use the app, we store your question responses, streaks, progress data and settings preferences. This data is necessary to provide the core functionality of the app, including tracking your revision progress and maintaining your position on school leaderboards.
We use your information to provide and improve the app experience, including: displaying your progress and streak data, showing your position on school leaderboards, sending optional daily revision reminders via push notifications, and maintaining your accessibility preferences.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption and is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Data is transmitted over HTTPS encryption.
We use the following third-party services:

Google Sign-In — as an optional authentication method. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
The app may send daily reminder notifications to help you maintain your revision streak. You can disable these at any time through your device settings.
The Maths Habit is designed for GCSE students (typically aged 14-16). We do not knowingly collect personal information beyond what is necessary for the app to function. We do not serve advertising or share data with advertisers.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email address below.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format.
